Made for a family of 5, this house was built with an outdoor activity-loving energy. High ceilings, open spaces, and facilities that support small family gatherings are some of the features this house accommodates for its main use. Located in the residential area of Ciwaruga, Western Bandung this house utilizes the benefits of its environment for the family’s love of pets and spacious yards. Being a couple of medical professionals with three kids, we emphasize sterile materials for the safety of activities in the house. The high-rising facade placement is combined with an elevating paving block with adequate distance from the gate gives a sense of exclusive yet comfortable for a residence.
Envisioned as a groundbreaking space that merges functionality with aesthetic appeal, creating an environment that is both inviting and efficient. From the outset, the goal was to craft a space that not only meets contemporary needs but also inspires those who experience it. Every element was designed with a clear purpose—whether to enhance usability, optimize flow, or evoke a specific ambiance. By focusing on a holistic approach, the project seamlessly integrates modern innovations with timeless design principles. The design concept is rooted in a balance of sophistication and practicality, incorporating clean lines, natural elements, and a carefully curated color palette. Each material was chosen to complement the overall vision, ensuring durability without compromising style. Key design elements, such as strategic lighting, spatial zoning, and ergonomic features, were meticulously planned to create a cohesive atmosphere. Whether through texture, contrast, or minimalist details, the space reflects a thoughtful approach that prioritizes both form and function.
Bringing this concept to life came with its own set of challenges, from technical constraints to logistical hurdles. The execution phase required adaptability, precision, and close collaboration with various teams to ensure every detail was implemented to perfection.
